A word from our executive director
In 1964, when Francophone economic and community pioneers, cooperatives from various sectors and Ontario’s caisses populaires took the revolutionary step of creating a provincial economic and social development organization, Impact ON was founded as the Cooperation Council of Ontario.
Over the past 60 years, Impact ON has greatly evolved, but it remains the embodiment of the know-how of Ontario’s French-speaking communities in terms of cooperation and social innovation. Since our founding, we have supported over 1,500 organizations and businesses in Ontario, Canada and around the world, demonstrating our commitment to social entrepreneurship, deeply rooted locally and governed with passion. These are all stories of solidarity and success, to which we have proudly contributed, inspiring and demonstrating how, together, we can shape a prosperous future.
As you can see, 2024 is an extremely significant anniversary, and to underline this, we want to take our mission even further. We invite you to become a key partner in this year of celebration by supporting our special programming.
