Nuit Blanche Ottawa partners with Impact ON in a financial structuring and strategic support initiative
The economic development organization will support the financial structuring of the event and contribute to the development of an entrepreneurial support component integrated into the event
Toronto, January 8, 2026 – The Nuit Blanche Ottawa project is partnering with Impact ON to make this major multidisciplinary cultural event a reality in the federal capital in 2026.
The memorandum of understanding signed between the two organizations entrusts Impact ON in helping develop the project’s financial structure, notably with public and private funders. Impact ON will support the planning and financial structuring surrounding the creation of an incubator for artists and cultural businesses integrated into the event. This support will enable the organization to offer comprehensive support to creators, combining entrepreneurial training, mentorship, and cooperative structuring.
“Impact ON’s mission is to support the growth of projects like Nuit Blanche Ottawa,” said Félix Corriveau, Executive Director at Impact ON. “Our expertise will help bring to fruition an initiative that will have significant economic benefits and a lasting social impact for our nation’s capital.”
During times of budget constraints, projects like Nuit Blanche Ottawa are too often overlooked by funders, Mr. Corriveau noted. He emphasized, however, that thanks to Impact ON’s unique expertise in strategic support, financial structuring, and entrepreneurial guidance, the organization is able to deliver tangible benefits for social enterprises and the communities where they operate.
The Nuit Blanche Ottawa project reflects the City of Ottawa and its institutional partners’ desire to revitalize its nightlife, while showcasing the capital in a more playful and inclusive light. A pilot project, held last fall, showed strong public enthusiasm for a larger-scale event.
“Our project is gaining more and more momentum,” said José Bertrand, Executive Producer of Nuit Blanche Ottawa. ” This partnership with a major, recognized economic development player strengthens the structure and credibility of our project. Starting in 2026, Ottawa’s nightlife will benefit from a true signature event and an unparalleled showcase for our local talent. “
The Nuit Blanche Ottawa event is scheduled to take place later in 2026.
