People under 35 are the present and future of our communities.
At Impact ON, we make sure they have every opportunity to succeed. This is achieved by creating tailor-made programs ranging from financial literacy to employability to the use of artificial intelligence. We are committed to ensuring social inclusion and economic and civic responsibility of future generations, and to shape the sustainable world we want to see.

Since 1995, this program has offered hundreds of young people a valuable professional development opportunity every year. It enables young people to gain significant work experience, improve their language skills in both official languages and prepare for their future careers. Taking part in this program is often a very first professional experience, and provides a solid foundation for one’s future career path. This springboard for inexperienced young people is deliberate, and the flexibility of the positions allows them to fit in with their study schedules and other commitments.
The program also covers travel costs for participants whose jobs are located more than 125 km from their permanent residence, further expanding employment opportunities for young people. Finally, an allowance to support housing costs helps to make these opportunities accessible to as many people as possible.
In 2019 in Canada, the unemployment rate for young people aged 15 to 24 was 11.3%, compared with an overall unemployment rate of 5.7%.
In exclusive collaboration with Desjardins, we offer three financial literacy training programs covering a wide range of age groups.
For students in grades 4ᵉ to 6ᵉ, we offer La Caisse Scolaire, a fun, interactive experience aimed at teaching financial basics through games, quizzes and role-playing.
For grades 7ᵉ and 8ᵉ, My Finances 101 offers five modules dedicated to awareness and responsible financial management, covering topics such as the costs of living, payment methods, security and savings.
Finally, for students in grade 9ᵉ or even adults, Personal Finance, I’m in charge! is a bilingual program of seventeen modules, covering concrete topics such as budgeting, using credit wisely, preventing over-indebtedness and informed consumption.
Through these various programs, we are committed to providing comprehensive financial education services, at a time when financial literacy has become an indispensable key skill.
